To treat COPD medication can be given the function of which is to relax the muscles of the airways for you’re to breathe. In case of severe COPD, surgery is preferred. One typical surgery is called bullectomy in which large air sacs are removed from the lungs. In some of the conditions lung transplant is also done to treat the disease. These are all major operations that need to be done carefully.

For asthma patients, the treatment is controller medications which can be taken on a regular basis. Some of them are the corticosteroids which are inhaled. LABA is present in the combination inhalers where they help to open the airways that are present in the lungs. Various oral medications such as the Leukotriene modifiers are also prescribed by doctors sometimes. Asthma can be treated and reduced gradually over time.

For obstructive sleep apneas, a CPAP device or a continuous positive airway pressure device is fitted over the nose or the mouth which blows air all throughout the night. Usage of CPAP Is highly effective and in most of the cases makes the patients better. Thus respiratory diseases should be treated as soon as possible.
